I love Morris Dancing
I
love Morris dancing I
practise all the time We
all love the dresses They’re
full of glitz and shine We
don’t need banners or Balloons Because
everyone knows we’re great And
St. Luke's winning all the time Is
definitely not fate We
go out there each week And
do the best we can Pat
is our trainer who does the dresses And
Jimmy is our man Kathy
sells the sweets and stuff
Ann-Marie is a judge The
tambourine is for moving people And
telling them where to budge The
shakers are for fashion And you feel like a star When
people clap and cheer If
you try you’ll go far You
are always safe at St. Luke's And
you have more than one mate So
why don’t you come along Because Morris dancing’s great!

The Forest Speaks
I am the eyes of the forest I feel someone walk on my grounds I feel the beat of the feet.
I wave my fingers in the breeze I see and feel the dragonfly fly Over my head.
I look out for my friends I take a drink when the river flows And the sky moves from blue to red I will keep my home.
These look like grasshoppers Why are they here? I want to escape, is panther near? Now they’ve gone - the forest is still Oh so still!
